Mark Molnar Mark Molnar, Director

BioMark became a peer support volunteer in 1994. In 2000, Mark joined Shanti staff within the HIV Services program. Starting out as the Shanti Peer Advocate stationed at St. Mary's Medical Center, Mark has also worked as a Care Coordinator, HIV & Volunteer Services Manager, and HIV Programs Director. Mark is a former Co-Chair of the San Francisco EMA HIV Health Services Planning Council and currently serves as the Council's Director.

BioAli joined the San Francisco HIV Health Services Planning Council in 2012. She graduated from Pomona College with a BA in Environmental Analysis and minors in Psychology and Spanish. As an undergraduate, she worked for several community-based environmental and educational non-profits and was involved with a number of research initiatives focused on social and environmental justice issues. After working in the private sector at a healthcare consulting firm, Ali joined our staff to pursue her passion for public policy, healthcare and advocacy. Ali is also a Shanti Peer Support Volunteer, and facilitates a monthly support group.

Bio Melina began at Shanti as an HIV Services intern. She received a BA in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz, focusing on environmental justice and natural history. Since graduating she has realized she wants to pursue a career in public health and client advocacy. Melina loves to spend time outdoors and her interests include cooking, meditating and playing music.

BioJeremy joined ALRP in August 2017 as the HCAP Advocate. Jeremy graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2012 with his B.A. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science. Jeremy earned his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2016 and his LL.M. in International Legal Studies in 2017. Jeremy was a law clerk for ALRP in the summer of 2015. While in law school, Jeremy also worked for the GGU Women’s Employment Rights Clinic, Eviction Defense Collaborative, and Bayview Hunters Point Community Legal. Jeremy was an extern at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for Magistrate Judge Maria-Elena James. He was also a member of the GGU Pro Bono Honor’s Society from 2014 – 2016, where he volunteered over 840 hours in the community. Jeremy returned to ALRP in December 2016 as the Interim HCAP Consumer Advocate until June 2017.
